THE SNELL
This method results in a very strong attachment, with great versatility. Using this method, multiple hooks can be attached to a single line for those bigger baits. Or, a weight can be threaded onto a line and then the knotless hook can be used to rig up a soft plastic lures.

EASY 2 HOOK FAQ.
Can anybody use these?
Yes, even if you have never tied a fishing hook on before after a couple of attempts most people can manage it easily.
I can already tie on a hook, why would I use these?
Most people, who can tie on a hook, can’t tie a knot that retains 98% of the line strength. In our own tests, we never broke the line once at the hook, it always broke somewhere mid line. We actually tied a hook on each end of a length of fishing line and then towed a trailer. The line never broke once at the hook!
Why are there 2 ways to attach it?
The basic Loop Wrap & Pull Tight method is a very simple way to attach the hooks and suits most circumstances. However the Snell, which is still basically a Loop, Wrap and Pull Tight, allows you to use the hooks for Soft Plastic lures and multiple hook rigs.
I only fish a few times a year and I forget how to tie on a hook, why would these be any different?
The method is so simple it is hard to forget, but just in case you do we have written the instructions on the hook packet. There are also youtubes on the Website & Facebook page. You only have to remember one simple phrase, Loop, Wrap & Pull Tight.
Is there a simple way to remember which way to wrap the line on?
If you wrap the line in the same direction as the open end of the eye, then the line will automatically pull through the eye. If you wrap the wrong way, the line won’t go through the eye. Just wrap it the other way.
What if I want to change the hook or sinker size, do I have to cut the hook off?
No, just simply unwrap the hook and start again. Even if you snell on 2 hooks and find they are to close or to far apart, just unwind one of the hooks , make the space adjustment and snell it back on.
Are they a quality hook?
The hooks are manufactured by Mustad Hooks, under licence to Easy2Hook. The ball is attached in a separate process.
Will the ball fall off?
I am unaware of any failures, but that isn’t to say they won’t happen. But that is no different to a standard hook, most of the time they are manufactured perfectly, occasionally there may be a small defect.
Can the line come loose from the hook?
Nothing is perfect, and there is a chance of the line coming loose, but if check the rig every time you check the bait, you should be right. Even the best knot is not perfect and can come loose or cause line failure. But with our method we believe the average angler will suffer a lot less hook/line failures, than what they would tying on a hook without being practiced in tying knots.
What other times do you see an advantage in using the knotless hooks?
If the weather is cold and it is hard to thread the line through a eye, if it is dark, if your eye sight is fading, if your fingers don’t work as well as they once did, if you just can’t remember how to tie a knot, if you want to be able to change rigs very quickly – the list is virtually endless.
Is it critical to use the correct size line for the hooks ?
Not critical, but very important to match the hook size to the line breaking strain. As the hook size gets smaller, it is very important that the line size gets smaller. On the Size #10 Wide Gap Bait Hooks, we would recommend no more than a 2 – 2.5 kg line strength. Any of the smaller hook sizes and you really need to use no more than a 1kg breaking strain line.
Will they work on Braid & Mono?
The hooks attach to Braid very well, in fact probably better then What it does to mono.
